Prepared for Erin & Matthew

Modern Classic Photoshoot Location & Style Guide

Hi, Erin & Matt! Based on our communications, I’ve prepared a list of locations and associated style guides that I think will bring your vision to life! Please review and let me know if you have any questions, comments, or want to change anything.

Also keep in mind that I’m here to help tell your story so, if you think I’ve totally missed the mark, just let me know (I promise you won’t hurt my feelings) and we can re-calibrate!

Locations

When we last spoke, you requested Orlando locations that were

clean and classy

said “romantic” and “sentimental”

and highlighted your connection

here are a few locations that came to mind:

A couple is dancing closely in an art gallery, smiling at each other, with artwork and a wooden floor in the background.

Orlando Museum of Art ** above image is not my work**

  • This museum just exudes “clean” and “classy” and I thought would be a perfect pairing with your cruise wedding (just minus the beach!)

I’ve reached out to them to request how we can obtain a permit to shoot here. I hope to hear from them soon!

  • I would really love to see something really romantic here! A flow dress with Matt in a clean suit would be **chef’s kiss*

Hotel Melby

  • For a cool, rooftop bar vibe, Hotel Melby is a great choice! It’s got great decor plus a skyline that’s perfect at sunset!

It’s free to shoot here, I’ll just need to coordinate with their events person.

  • I think a dressy date-night outfit would be a perfect pairing with this location!

Downtown Orlando

  • Downtown Orlando is a great choice for some variety. We could do some in front of the Orlando Courthouse and use some of its great architecture, do some fun shots walking around downtown, then finish with a sunset on top of my favorite (yes, I have a favorite) parking garage!

  • Same as Hotel Melty, I think a dressed up date night look would be perfect here!

Rollins College ** above image is not my work**

  • A little bit of old European architecture and a little bit of green lawns and gardens!

It’s also free to shoot at and has Central Park nearby to wander to and take photos at. I believe we may be able to also do some photos at that restaurant we discussed Garp and Fuss, which is just a few blocks away.

  • I’m always a fan of neutrals for photos, I think you could also add some subtle green or red gem tones (so, more emerald and ruby) in your outfits for this location.

I think Rollins could also pair with a more casual vibe, but is versatile enough to also accompany a dressy/classy look especially with Central Park nearby.

Cypress Grove Park

  • Cypress Grove Park features large open lawns, lake-side views, big trees with hanging Spanish moss, and also an estate that’s gorgeous!

  • I definitely think this location fits more of “The Notebook” style vibe.

I envision like a tea-length white dress and Matt in khakis and either white or we could also play with some color for him too. Just really lean into the “LalaLand” and Nicholas Sparks romance films!

A couple walking on a crosswalk in a colorful downtown street lined with palm trees and parked cars. The street has buildings painted in pastel colors, with American flags hanging from lampposts. Overhead string lights are visible, and the sky is overcast.

Celebration ** above image is not my work**

  • Celebration just has always looked like a small town movie set to me - very Gilmore Girls!

The only thing I may be concerned with is the crowd on a Sunday (I believe they may have farmers markets and such on the weekends)

  • Ok, Celebration gives me more of those Hallmark movie vibes!

I really think you guys could dress this up or down anyway!
