Juliana + Duncan Photoshoot Locations

Hi, Juliana & Duncan! Based on our call, I’ve prepared a list of photoshoot locations that I think will bring your vision to life! Please review and let me know if you have any questions, comments, or want to change anything.

If you see a location you like, just let me know and I can get to work on making the appropriate arrangements!

Also keep in mind that I’m here to help tell your story so, if you think I’ve totally missed the mark, just let me know (I promise you won’t hurt my feelings) and we can re-calibrate!

Dickson Azalea Park

Why I like this location

I think Dickson Azalea Park has all the forest-ey elements you’re looking for, with a hint of interesting architecture. It’s also kind of a hidden gem in that not even a whole lot of locals know about this spot so, it’s likely to be mostly empty during your shoot!

It’s also free to shoot at and we can stay as late as we want if you were looking for some more dusk-y/blue-hour photos

P.S. I dug these photos up from the DEEP recesses of my archive so please don’t judge me by the sins of my past lol - and please refer to google for more photos because it really is a nice park

Why I like this location

From our chat and your inspo, I immediately thought of this location! It kinda has a haunting beauty to it - it is an active museum and wedding venue so, I would have to reach out to them for permission / availability. With properties like these, it’s unlikely that we would be able to stay past dusk ( Museum hours ends at 4:30PM but sometimes they are receptive to staying open a little later upon request)

It’s not exactly “forest-ey” but it is a huge property with lots of trees and fields “behind” the house you see here so, there’s lots of room to frolic with what I expect to be a minimal to low amount of people.

Honorable Mention

The Capen House in Orlando has a similar look and vibe but with a much smaller property. I didn’t include it in this guide because I think it doesn’t have quite as many trees, but it is in Winter Park, Orlando If that is a more convenient location for you. Again, I would have to contact the property for permission/availability. You can see a gallery I did of the property here:

Castle Ottis

Why I like this location

This is another location that immediately came to mind when we talked — and I think its obvious why!

It doesn’t have a whole lot of natural trees and nature but the castle is so unique especially in Florida! I think it adds to the whole “scrooge” vibe.

This is another location that I would need to contact the property for permission/availability if you’re interested in it.
